Kentuckians deserve affordable, quality health care. But Republican legislation to replace the Affordable Care Act (ACA) is about tax cuts for the wealthy – not health care.
Their plan offers $600 billion in tax breaks for the wealthy, insurance companies and the pharmaceutical industry – paid for by taking away people’s health care. It would leave 24 million people without coverage and dismantle Medicaid as we know it.
And this week, House Republicans made changes to their “American Health Care Act” (AHCA) that would make even deeper cuts to Medicaid.

Vote NO on the AHCA. Now is the time to improve the ACA – not gut it.
Kentuckians deserve more affordable coverage, better benefits that include mental health and addiction treatment, and stronger protections for everyone.
But the “American Health Care Act” will strip coverage from Kentuckians, hurt our economy and drive up the cost of health care for consumers – all to pay for a $600 billion tax cut for the wealthy and insurance companies.
