Directions to KFTC's Statewide Annual Meeting

From northern KY, Lexington or Berea:

  1. Get on I-75 heading South. (From Lexington, you can also take US 27 South all the way until you make a right onto KY 80 Bypass/Dyche Memorial Hwy/Cumberland Parkway.)

  2. Take exit 62 (KY 461/Renfro Valley/Mount Vernon) and merge right onto US 25 towards Mount Vernon/KY 461.

  3. Stay straight to go onto KY 461 and follow for 18 miles.

  4. At T-intersection, turn right to go onto KY-80 (Also called Russell Dyche Memorial Highway) heading west. (If you haven’t eaten dinner, stop to eat along this road when you get to Somerset. This is your last option, as there is no dinner served at the 4-H center on Friday night.)

  5. In about ten miles this road becomes the Cumberland Parkway. Continue straight.

  6. Follow the Cumberland Parkway to exit 78/Nancy (about 10 miles beyond Somerset).

  7. Turn left at end of exit ramp onto KY 80.

  8. Go past a church and one house, then turn right at the sign for Lake Cumberland 4-H Center.

  9. In about 3 miles this road will come to a T-intersection with KY 196.

  10. Turn right onto KY 196 and follow for 12 miles to the 4-H Center. (Beware! KY 196 makes a sharp left turn at Jabez, and you should, too!)

  11. KY 196 eventually dead-ends in the parking lot of the 4-H Center.

 

From eastern KY:

  1. Take the Hal Rogers Parkway/KY 80 headed west which becomes the Daniel Boone Parkway in London.

  2. Continue west on KY 80.

  3. In Somerset, KY 80 W becomes Russell S. Dyche Memorial Hwy/KY 80W Bypass. Then it becomes the Louis B. Nunn/Cumberland Parkway.  (If you haven’t eaten dinner, stop to eat along this road when you get to Somerset. This is your last option, as there is no dinner served at the 4-H center on Friday night.)

  4. Follow the Cumberland Parkway to Exit 78--Nancy (about 10 miles beyond Somerset).

  5. Turn left at end of exit ramp onto KY 80.

  6. Go past a church and one house, then turn right at the sign for Lake Cumberland 4-H Center.

  7. In about 3 miles this road will come to a T-intersection with KY 196.

  8. Turn right onto KY 196 and follow for 12 miles to the 4-H Center. (Beware! KY 196 makes a sharp left turn at Jabez, and you should, too!)

  9. KY 196 eventually dead-ends in the parking lot of the 4-H Center.

 

From Bowling Green & western KY:

Dinner is NOT served on Friday evening so be sure to eat before you arrive.

  1. Take I65 N to Exit 43—the Louis B. Nunn/Cumberland Parkway East.

  2. Follow the Cumberland Parkway headed East to Exit 78—Nancy.

  3. Turn right at end of exit ramp onto KY 80.

  4. Go past a church and one house, then turn right at the sign for Lake Cumberland 4-H Center.

  5. In about 3 miles this road will come to a T-intersection with KY 196.

  6. Turn right onto KY 196 and follow for 12 miles to the 4-H Center. (Beware! KY 196 makes a sharp left turn at Jabez, and you should, too!)

  7. KY 196 eventually dead-ends in the parking lot of the 4-H Center.

 

From Louisville:

Dinner is NOT served on Friday evening so be sure to eat before you arrive.
