Fair Maps Act

House Bill Number:
326

House Bill 326, the Fair Maps Act, is a redistricting bill that would have made redistricting less partisan in Kentucky. It set clear standards for maps and moved decision-making away from partisan decisions of the legislature. Legislative and congressional districts will be re-shaped after the 2020 Census.

This effort to make redistricting nonpartisan is being spearheaded by the League of Women Voters of Kentucky.
