We had a good KFTC meeting in Scott County tonight, and managed to get a lot of key pieces of work done.

Rosanne and Tim Klarer have set the date for a big pie-related houseparty - scheduled for the evening of Saturday, November 13th - and lots of people in the chapter are excited to lend a hand to make the event a success.

The chapter also really jumped into the idea of scheduling voter empowerment events, including a couple of voter registration tablings on campus, one big (15+) person door-to-door canvassing day, and canvassing three days of community festivals.  They also committed to setting a series of phone banks at their next meeting, just after the voter registration deadline.

Chapter members are also excited to be hosting the statewide KFTC Steering Committee Meeting in Georgetown next weekend.

In a small meeting after the meeting, two of our New Power Leaders chose the clusters of people they'll be in touch with as part of a new program of deep communication between our members.
