Rowan County Chapter First Democracy Team Meeting
Join us on January 25 at 6 p.m. at St. Alban's Episcopal Church for the first Rowan County Voting and Democracy Team meeting.
Last November, Rowan County Chapter members attended the launch of KFTC's new voter engagement strategy, Action for Democracy, which aims to work year-round to register, educate, and mobilize voters. As part of Action for Democracy, local KFTC groups are forming their own Democracy and Voter Engagement Teams to plan local strategy for getting out the vote, educating voters about candidates and issues, and supporting local candidates who share our vision for Kentucky.
On January 25, the first Rowan County Voting and Democracy Team meeting will take place. We will discuss voter engagement and registration, Voter Guides about candidates running in the Rowan County primary, and more.
RSVP here. Even if you can't make it, please fill out the form anyways, and we will send you a follow up email with information on how to get involved.
St. Alban's Episocopal Church is located at 145 5th Street. The space is wheelchair accessible and has gender neutral bathrooms. Young people are welcome, but childcare is not provided. If you have any questions about the accessibility of the space, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
