Many turn out to speak to the importance of water

In February roughly 100 people filled the Ohio River Valley Water Sanitation Commission to comment on proposals that would weaken the ORSANCO water quality station.

ORSANCO Commission Meeting

The Ohio River Valley Water Sanitation Commission (ORSANCO) will be discussing and potentially voting on proposed changes to their Pollution Control Standards. The last chance to make public comments will be at this meeting of its Commission, where they will hold their official business meeting. There will also be a comment after the meeting to share your reflections after the meeting.

ORSANCO Hearing (Evansville)

The Ohio River Valley Water Sanitation Commission (ORSANCO) is considering a proposal that would make its Pollution Control Standards voluntary for states to enforce. There will be three public hearings, where people can make a public comment to be recordered in order to encourage the ORSANCO Commission to keep mandatory standards for the entire Ohio River valley.

Creating Spaces of Belonging: Anti-Oppression Within Our Organizing

KFTC aims to model and live out the values and vision that are necessary to build the world we want to live in. This workshop will support participants in building a shared understanding of systems of oppression, how they impact us and our organizing, and how we can create spaces that move us toward collective liberation.

Building Grassroots Power Through Membership Recruitment

Join KFTC members as we talk about the importance of membership recruitment in building a healthy organization, and why it is important that we ask people to join us in the work of building our vision!
