If you get a letter from the State Board of Elections, open it to make sure your vote counted
About 3,000 mail-in ballots in the state have been invalidated because they were filled out incorrectly. If your ballot has a problem, you’'ll get a letter from the State Board of Elections and possibly an email, possibly a call from the County Clerk, and possibly contact from someone in your political party to let you know. You’ll have until 11/9 to fix the problem.
The rejection rate this election is far lower than the primary and over 1,100 of the 3,000 ballots have already been fixed, but we want to do everything we can to make sure all these votes are fixed and counted.
