Tackling the A-Z Impacts of Plastics

Members of Kentuckians For The Commonwealth have built connections with allies across the Ohio River valley over the past few years around the fight to protect ORSANCO's regulatory mission. While the fight was ultimately lost, members have worked to stay connected to folks from various states to help make sure we alll have access to healthy water - regardless of where we live, or what we earn.

With the proposed Appalachian petrochemical hub coming upstream from most of us, allies quickly came together to highlight the concerns around this hub, and it's intention to create more plastic. To hep raise awareness about what this means, we're excited to announce that the Tackling A-Z Impacts of Plastic Webinar happening on Tuesday & Thursday May 19th and 21st. This will be a monthly webinar series happening on the third Tuesday and Thursday of each month from May through August. We will discuss the various impacts of plastic production on health, environment, climate, and economics. This month's webinar will focus on health featuring Dr. Ned Ketyer of Physicians for Social Responsibility and Environmental Health Project and Julie Dermansky of DeSmog Blog.
