 This new documentary film  by Ralph Davis features interviews with Eastern Kentuckians affected by coal mining practices. Louisville author Sam Avery will facilitate a post-screening discussion featuring the filmmaker and individuals featured in the film. “Appalachia 2050”. The film features interviews with residents who have been affected by coal mining practices in Eastern Kentucky. $5 suggested donation

This event is part of the Jefferson County Chapter of KFTC's Louisville Loves Mountains Week, which is aimed at promoting KFTC's I Love Mountains Day.
