Stand for Health Care | Kentuckians For The Commonwealth

Stand for Health Care

Kentuckians deserve affordable, quality health care. But the Republicans’ legislation to replace the ACA is about tax cuts for the wealthy--not health care. The proposal would offer a $600 billion tax cut for the wealthy, insurance companies, and the pharmaceutical industry – paid for taking health care from 24 million people and dismantling Medicaid as we know it.

But it’s not a done deal. Because of public pressure, Republican Congresspeople have already defected from the party position by refusing to support the legislation. Republican governors in four states have opposed it. Together, we can stop this legislation as we build support for health care for all. It’s vital that Kentuckians’ voices are heard.

Join us for a call on Tuesday about how you can support health care for all.
