Western Kentucky Town Hall
All Western Kentuckians are invited to participate in a Kentucky State Budget town hall meeting on Saturday March 10th at 2 pm at the Graves County Public Library.
We are assembling a panel of concerned citizens to speak about funding for public education, healthcare, and other direct public services. Panelists will share their vision for a community that is adequately funded . This panel will also share concerns with the currently proposed state budget, and ask for comment on progressive tax reform such as is proposed in Kentucky HB 29 as a solution to the problems with this budget.
We are inviting Representatives Coursey, Heath, Imes, Rudy and Watkins, as well as Senator Carroll and Governor Bevin to attend this town hall meeting, but have not confirmed attendance yet.
This Town Hall Meeting is set to take place on March 10th from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Graves County Public Library, and will be open to the public. The Graves County Public Library is located at 601 N 17th Street in Mayfield, Kentucky.
