Online Training - What you can do to register voters

The Kentucky voter registration deadline is in just a few weeks away on Tuesday October 9th. You have the power to make sure your community is registered and ready to vote and you can learn those skills with us online on a one-hour video call.

We are working for a day when all voices are heard and respected in our democracy. And that starts with grassroots action. Join KFTC members from across the state on Tuesday, September 18th, at 8 p.m. ET for a one hour virtual voter engagement volunteer training with an emphasis on how to register voters in YOUR community. You can register here to save your spot.

These online trainings are an opportunity to connect with folks across the state and learn about KFTC's approach to voter engagement. It's also an opportunity for people who are not directly connected to a local KFTC chapter to get involved in the work, as well as a way for folks to connect with their local chapter. All participants will leave the online training with concrete next steps to start engaging voters.

Trainings will take place via Zoom video conference. Information for how to get on the call will be sent to everyone who registers.

Can’t make it on Tuesday? There's another training on October 18 focused on getting out the vote and some local chapters are also planning in-person trainings. For more information, please contact your local organizer or Beth Howard at [email protected].
