Question 1:

What’s your vision for Kentucky? How will the lives of Kentuckians be improved as a result of your time in office? What legislative committees will you request to serve on once elected?

The job of Kentucky State Representative – in my opinion – is just that, a representative of the people in your district on key issues that have a direct effect on the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Therefore, if elected, I feel it is my obligation to take the concerns of those in my district – concerning those key issues – to the Kentucky State Legislature. As a State Representative, I would work with both the people in my district, as well as other legislators, to find and affect solutions that address my district’s concerns. I vow to work with Kentuckians and those in the Kentucky State Legislature to implement solutions that best benefit both those in the district I represent and the Commonwealth of Kentucky as a whole – while setting aside any negative influence from party politics.            Furthermore, if the good people of the 4th district saw fit to elect me as their State Representative, I would like to serve on the following committees: Education and the Economic Development & Workforce Investment committees. I feel that these two committees share a common interest in the future of Kentucky.
